Der Feinschmecker is a monthly german special interest magazine that focuses on fine dining, wine and other gourmet topics.
Every two years it also publishes a book recommending the best 900 winemakers and wineries in Germany. In 2014 VS was acknowledged as one of the top wineries in the Mosel appellation.
Honored with three National Awards
The National Awards are bestowed by the Ministry for Economy, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture of each German state. A winery must earn at least 250 awards of its state’s wine regions to be qualified for this speedwell. This means it has to continuously show high quality over an extended period of time and successfully participate in state competitions.
VS has won three National Awards in the years 1979, 1995 and 2001.

The International Wine Award MUNDUS VINI is a major international wine competition for wines of all wine-growing regions. While welcomed by wine customers as a helpful orientation aid, awards provide producers with recognition of their hard work.

Awarded multiple national “Kammer Prize Medallions” every year
The German state of Rhineland-Palatinate awards Gold, Silver and Bronze medallions for exceptional wines of the region every year. VS enters multiple wines of each vintage and is continuously receiving rewards. The best vintage of the last decade was the year 2013 in which Konrad’s wines were awarded with 4 Gold and 3 Silver Medallions.
